Gridless is built so there is almost nothing to have a privacy policy about. Here is the whole truth.

We do not collect your data

Gridless has no servers, no accounts, and makes no network calls to us or to any third party. We do not collect, receive, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We have no analytics and no advertising. We cannot read your messages, and neither can anyone else who is not one of the two paired phones.

Gridless에는 서버도 계정도 없고, 우리나 제3자에게 어떤 네트워크 요청도 보내지 않습니다. 어떤 개인정보도 수집·수신·저장·전송·판매·공유하지 않습니다. 분석 도구도 광고도 없습니다. 우리는 메시지를 읽을 수 없고, 연결된 두 폰이 아닌 그 누구도 읽을 수 없습니다.

Where your data lives

데이터가 머무는 곳

Everything stays on your device or travels directly to the other paired phone over Bluetooth:

모든 것은 기기에 남거나, 블루투스를 통해 상대 폰까지 직접 이동합니다:

• Your messages and rooms are stored encrypted on your phone (SQLCipher, AES-256), sealed behind your Face ID or Touch ID or passcode and a passphrase you choose.
• Messages between two paired phones are end-to-end encrypted (Noise protocol) and are exchanged directly over Bluetooth, never through a server.
• "Delete all data" crypto-erases every room and message on your phone, permanently.

• 메시지와 방은 폰 안에 암호화되어 저장됩니다(SQLCipher, AES-256). Face ID·Touch ID·기기 암호와 직접 정한 패스프레이즈 뒤에 봉인됩니다.
• 연결된 두 폰 사이의 메시지는 종단간 암호화되어(Noise 프로토콜) 서버를 거치지 않고 블루투스로 직접 오갑니다.

So that free trials and purchases work without a server, two small, anonymous records are kept in your device Keychain and by the App Store, and they survive erasing or reinstalling the app:

서버 없이도 무료 체험과 구매가 동작하도록, 작고 익명인 기록 두 개가 기기 키체인과 App Store에 남으며, 앱을 지우거나 재설치해도 유지됩니다:

• A trial timestamp (a date only, with no content, no identity, no contacts).
• Your App Store purchase state (managed by Apple, tied to your Apple ID, not to us).

• 체험 시작일(날짜 하나. 내용도, 신원도, 연락처도 담지 않습니다).
• App Store 구매 상태(Apple이 관리하며 Apple ID에 연결됩니다. 우리와는 무관합니다).

These contain nothing about who you talked to or what you said.

여기에는 누구와 무슨 대화를 했는지에 관한 정보가 전혀 없습니다.

Permissions

권한

• Bluetooth: the transport for the entire app.
• Camera: only to scan a pairing QR code (optional; a recovery phrase works too).
• Notifications: optional; a local notification when a message arrives while the app is backgrounded.

• 블루투스: 앱 전체의 전송 수단입니다.
• 카메라: 연결용 QR 코드 스캔에만 사용합니다(선택 사항이며, 복구 문구로도 연결할 수 있습니다).
• 알림: 선택 사항입니다. 앱이 백그라운드일 때 메시지 도착을 로컬 알림으로 알립니다.

Payments

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment details.

Gridless is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
